imma rockstar ya know! so i deserved equal attention! part 2.

ok. where was i now?
ahh..

so.. as you may have guessed it, the designer didn't come on the 10th of feb. 11th of feb pon senyap je. memang i was already about to turned green. so, i texted the designer, sms tahap meroyan yang tak dapat dibendung lagi. again, gua sms dia, dia sms kat bills the bilis. boleh ke macam tu? sampai b pon naik fed up, pon turut sama dalam marathon sms itu...

a day before sis#2 punya big day, dia promised to come in the afternoon. itupon dia reply sms kat b je. masa tu, all of us sisters were busy arranging flowers and other stuff. i was so malas to care about it, so i just went out whenever i feel like it. lagipun, masa tu kena sent off all the hantarans and what not to the event's place, so that esok pagi tu takde la tergopoh-gapah sangat.

dari masa pergi ke tabung haji sampai balik ke rumah, i didn't receive any sms from the designer. sampai rumah dah nak maghrib, tengok mister mama and some relatives tengah sibuk atur makanan untuk the berinai session that nite. i went straight to mister mama's room, preparing my makeup stuff dengan perasaan yang marah. owh.. that's not a good sign people sebab if i'm not in a good mood, my makeup skills (skillful sangat la..) would go awry and mesti ada yang tak kena. and yup, i was damn right! teruk bakal pengantin kena marah sume. dah la tak makan satu hari. lagi la mood koyak rabak. (gua memang kiasu, orang lain yang nak nikah, gua pulak yang tak makan!)

when the makeup session was about to come to an end, someone knocked the door and it was b, with a familiar warna kain yang dah jadi baju kat tangan dia, nicely hung in a plastic cover. it was my baju! but not as what i wanted! warghhhhhh!! memang nak migrain gua tengok baju tu.. but since nak buat final touch up, i put the baju aside and continued. b siap suruh i try the baju el pronto sebab si designer menanti di bawah. ah! biar dia tunggu!

lepas sis#2 habis mekap (yang tak kena: her face 'ter'putih sangat sebab salah?/terlebih? foundation.. arrggghh! tensi!), she went downstairs. semua orang yang kecoh tadi, pon ikut sama. it was only me and the baju. i looked at the baju with a broken heart. well, slightly. sebab it wasn't as what i wanted. it wasn't as what was sketched. totally different. but still looked good. no. great. no. the baju was gorgeous!

it was indeed a gorgeous dress. so i took them down and slipped in the sarong first. ok. good. it fit nicely.

then the top. the delicate top.

for the first time ever, baju kurung moden yang slipped perfectly, ikut badan gua yang tak berapa nak angelina-jolie-like ni. hahaha. and for the first time ever, i fell in love with a baju kurung moden. sebab selama ni, kurung johor was always da bomb! cotton ones please. ahahaa..

then bills the bilis came in and staring at me and the baju. mata dia sangat envious. she was jealous of the baju lantas membuatkan hati gua kembali berbunga ceria. drama betul!

she helped me with the buttons and zipper. and quickly ushered me down (macam i la pengantin tuu) and called out the designer to come by the stairs (sebab taknak ganggu majlis berinai).

gua cuba buat muka bengis, tapi being me, the soft-hearted person (yeah rite!), i smiled appropriately sambil membebel. bengang. tapi korang nak tau tak? muka dia straightttt je, macam takde apa yang berlaku, siap cakap, "ala, takpe, dah biasa kena marah macam ni.." dah biasa?? mak aiii...

dah la tu, siap konon-konon nak ambik gambar, tengah buat fitting session. gua stress je tapi nasib baik gua ni memang baik hati. gua pon ikut je kerenah dia and assistant dia. owh, masa tu, b pon tengok sama, tapi muka dia muka tak bagi chance aka muka garang je. tapi seriously people! they didn't care less! malah masih mampu tersenyum lebar lagi... laaa haaaiii..

and so, the rest is history lah. walaupon attitude menyiapkan baju on time sangat mendukacitakan, but it turned out well. i shall put up the piccas from the event soon. together with the story on the nikah and sanding okeh bebeh? but for those yang memang in my fb list, mesti dah tengok baju tu. gua buat profile pic la babe! haha..

anyway, i leave you with this one here. bills the bilis pon dah missed call menandakan dia sudah hampir tiba di perkarangan ofis...
