melting hearts...

a cousin of mine is now in the hospital due to some illness.
and it is called liver cirrhosis. (please click to know more about it)
he's been there for a month now as the doctors couldn't tell much about his illness.

at first he was admitted to the gleneagles hospital sebab ada jaundice. and after further check up, the doctors detected the possibilities of liver cirrhosis and transferred him to selayang hospital on a pretext that that hospital have specialist there. day after day, his condition didn't improve. stagnant. for that, they transferred him to high dependency unit for a better monitoring & to avoid any possible infection that could worsen his condition. therefore, visitors are not allowed except for his wife & mom. (luckily we got the chance to visit him few weeks back, just before he was transferred.)

and last weekend, we got the news that his mother pulak patah kaki. so, we went to my auntie's place to pay her a visit. kesian dia.. dah la nak kena tolong jaga 2 of her cucu (my cousin's children) tapi dah patah kaki pulak. nasib baik dorang ada maid.

when i looked at the children, my heart melted sebab they're still young, the eldest (son) is 3 years old and the youngest (daughter) is only 5 months! dah sebulan tak dapat jumpa daddy dorang since they can't go to the hospital..

~sigh~

since i am not allowed to reveal more on this matter, all i can ask for from you, you and you, please pray for his well being. i know Allah will listen to each and every single doa and insyaAllah, his condition will improve from time to time. hanya Allah je yang tahu what He has in store for him.. kita sebagai umatNya, buatlah apa yang termampu and selagi ada usaha, insyaAllah..

eric leong in da house!! surprise! surprise! surprise!

mana ada eric leong daaa... lol!

again, b planned a surprise birthday celebration for me.
a simple but memorable ones.

mister mama wasn't around sebab she had to attend her brother's nikah event kat johor. we didn't go sebab b had a wedding assignment the whole day. i spent my day with lil zaes. we went lunch together kat kassa corner (near my house), then balik rumah lipat baju while watching tv. tengok-tengok zaes dah tido sampai ke petang. then i brought lil zaes to the playground (accompanied by my cousin miya & her hubby) and he was playing sampai taknak balik walaupon hujan dah turun.

waited for b to come back dengan harapan mungkin akan keluar dinner tetapi tunggu punya tunggu punya tunggu and after few smses & calls, tak sampai-sampai rumah jugak, i dah give up ingat nak pegi tapau makanan kat kedai berdekatan je. tiba-tiba, miya came and few seconds later i heard people singing the birthday song. they were my sis, bro-in-law and their daughters, b & bills the bilis' kawan je. i cried a lil masa dorang masuk, bukan sebab terharu tapi sebab agak bengang sedikit kerana menunggu lama.. uhuhuhuuu.. rupanya itulah plan dia.. ~sigh~

hello there gorgeous 30!

ya, hari ini usia saya telah menganjak ke angka 30.
thirty already.

selamat tinggal dunia 20-an.
hello there club 30s!
can't wait to live my life from here.

oh dear Allah, thanks for still letting me breathe on this very day.
and for more days, weeks, months and years to come.

3 to 30 : 300th entry special! :

18.11.2009 marks the 3rd wedding anniversary for b & i.
and coincidently, this is also my 300th entry for roxychick's.
hurrah!

it is 8.40pm and i'm waiting for b and the rest of the troops (mister mama & zaes laa.. sapa lagi) to come and fetch me at the office. b was telling me that he wants to bring us out for dinner. i guess they're running late due to the massive traffic jam because the rain was quite heavy just now.

dinner is always the best choice for any occasion. and to have dinner (outside) with the whole family is simply a bliss for me as i never expect any expensive gifts. like i said before, never a tradition in our lives. only if we have extra dough to splurge on, thennn it's a different story. heh.

haih! my colleague just shouted at me that i'm gonna be the last person in my office floor. gotta run la nih... cannot wait sorang-sorang...

just came back from the dinner.

b made a reservation at las carretas, taipan usj. after half an hour of waiting at the lobby, he finally arrived with zaes & mister mama. according to him, the traffic was bad kat area sunway...

when we were there, mister mama dah tak senang duduk as that was our first trip there. dia tak senang duduk sebab that place showcased too many wines and liquor secara terang-terangan.. nak keluar rasa kesian pulak kat b sebab susah payah made a reservation there sebab a friend recommended that place.. so we just sat and asked the waiter about the food and when he assured us that there'll be no liquor in their food, baru mister mama settled down sket..

so, while waiting for our food, b excused himself sebab nak pegi mencemar udara kat luar. at that point i've smelled something fishy (from the moment we came out of the car) but buat tak tau jela until our food arrived (cepat jugak food sampai) and he came in with the anniversary present. hahahahaa! dari jauh gua dah nampak that very infamous plastic bag and its special holiday collection paper bag inside it.. hahaha.. you guessed it! it's one of the item from the m.a.c holiday collection, the eyeshadow palette! yay! (tapi, after discussing with him, i decided to change it to other item disebabkan faktor eyeshadow yang i owned pon, almost the same as the colours yang ada dalam that new palette)

after habis makan, suddenly the waiter came and presented us the complimentary desert, hot choc brownie with vanilla ice cream since it was our anniversary... and they also took our pic and printed it out as a token of remembrance for us to bring home. awesomeee! *a la lini, bilis' friend* =D

b took some pics. so was lil zaes. and his photography skills has improved, i must say. zaes i mean. ok now.. enough blabbering! =)
