... is a slice of artificial-colour-rich cake tasted like a normal (not so) moist cake with a twist of orangey-after-taste to it. oh! topped with the not-so-creamy cream cheese.

sorry gals! i'm not being the odd one here but even my cousin pon agree that it didn't taste as good as the reviews that other people have been raved so much about! the moment kitorang rasa cake tu, takdelah pulak muka sedih bertukar ceria. malah bertambah sedih.. hehe..

but, again, ini pendapat individu i saja. we have different taste kan, so, maybe i tak suka ni, tapi ada lagi 50 ribu orang kat luar sana yang suka sampai termimpi-mimpi, minum tak lena, mandi tak kenyang, makan tak basah.. heh.

so, jangan terpengaruh dengan apa yang i tulis.
moral of the story: tak kenal maka tak cinta. kalau dah kenal, masih tak cinta-cinta jugak, maknanya lu pikir la sendiri... haha.. takdelah. kalau nak tau best ke tidak, sila pergi beli dan rasa sendiri. masa tu barulah moment of truth.

ok. babai kek baldu merah. up next: kek sutera sifon. *haha.. ada kah?*

saba(r) itu separuh daripada lamb kabsah... muahahaha...

last saturday i had the chance to visit cyberjaya for the.. heh.. first time. seriously. if it wasn't because of termimpi-mimpikan lamb kabsah from saba restaurant, mesti takkan jejak tanah cyberjaya tu. ahahahaaa..

the first time i tasted the lamb kabsah was 2 sundays ago. masa tu kitorang nak distribute my sis#2 punya wedding card to my mom's relative, so bila sampai kat rumah my cousin tu (kat taman permata), her mom suggested saba restaurant kat jelatek branch for lunch. and since then (sebab makan tak puas since orang belanja kan.. takkan nak cakap tak cukup kot) the succulent lamb kabsah was on my mind day and nite and knowing incek suami suka lamb, so, that saturday noon, i dragged him there, together with lil zaes and mister mama.

walaupon sesat-sesat cari saba restaurant kat cyberjaya, finally jumpa jugak. and owh, since first time kat cyberjaya, maka gua telah menjadi jakun melihat architecture kat situ.. boleh tak, this one office building, architecture nya sama macam resort percutian? wah.. mesti less stress sesiapa yang bekerja di situ..

sampai kat saba, we were surprised to see the lambakan manusia yang memenuhi ruang saba restaurant. they were in a midst of renovation, i guess tu yang customers ada kat ceruk tu, ada kat ceruk ni. berbeza dengan branch jelatek, which was more proper and organised and cozier ambience too, the one in cyberjaya resembles a mamak place. the 1st 5 minutes memang takde tempat duduk kat dalam (kat luar panas terik tu yang tok se tu..) sampai the waiter tu suruh duduk kat tepi pintu stor (boleh?) tapi berkat kesabaran lamb kabsah, finally dapat gak a table.

mula-mula dapat menu, muka b macam apayangbestsangatmakanankatsini. so i took the menu and ordered one large lamb kabsah + rice, the taboulah (salad-like dish) and the hummus (mashed chick-peas makan dengan thin pita bread). and when the food arrived (perasaan masih teruja sebab ingat b pon akan turut sama teruja) we shared the rice (4 of us) and the lamb was.. aaaahhh!! ooh la laaa! juicy and succulent and lembut and smackelicious! tapi, bila tengok muka b, tak excited sangat sebab he's not too fond of nasi beriyani actually. (tapi tu bukan beriyani la b, it's nasi arab..) cuma he likes the lamb je. tapi dia memang puas hati la sebab for that 1 large lamb kabsah, share 4 orang, memang jimat and worth it. owh.. besides lamb, they also served chicken. and the nasi pon ada 2 types, one is the kabsah, meat was tender and almost fall off the bone soft. another one, hanith. yang hanith ni, the lamb or chicken was wrapped in foil and looked like roasted-type. like i said, LOOKED like roasted tapi tak tau la kan.. we didn't order pon and lupa pulak nak tanya the difference between these 2.. (note to self: jangan lupa tanya difference kepada terma kabsah dan hanith bila pergi sana sekali lagi.. sekali lagi?? bilakah?) the kabsah priced at rm15 for regular size and rm20 for the large size while the hanith price at rm17 (r) and rm22 for large size. the hummus at rm5, tabulah at rm7 and the barbican rm3.

and because of too excited nak belasah the lamb kabsah and the steamy soft arab rice, i didn't take the pics of the food sangat.. sila keciwa..

miya & jai makan sampai lebam.. itupon still have some portion of the rice. lamb dorang habiskan sampai licin as both of them are lamb lovers.

tis the day to be filled with food...

burrpppp! alhamdulillah.
kat atas tu was my lunch just now. belah kiri was a char kuey teow and kanan was a nasi goreng cina. both were bought from this one place kat kelana jaya, stalls yg opposite the old giant tu.. sori sebab tak amik gambar before the food was being eaten. (nanti korang ingat gua tipu lak..) i was famished. i finished em up both within seconds.. (no la.. in between 30 minutes kot..) boy, was i famished?!! ni pun ada 4 more slices of jambu pak cu 916 to be gobbled. soon.

ok la. since esok nak cuti, i thot i'd post something today. baru habis satu beban keja tadi. to be presented soon @3pm. dah lepas. - fcuk la!!! don't ask! - friday i'm gonna be out of office for product shoot @the studio. billa dah start cuti by then. but not me. gonna work, work, work. pathetic.

next monday will be 1 muharram 1430. ala. new year dalam kalendar islam la..and menurut bulan islam yang mulia itu, saya bakal menginjak ke usia 30 tahun. (i was born 1st muharram 1400, mengikut kalendar islam) takpe. insyaAllah i'm ready.

talking about celebration, mesti teringat pasal hadiah2. tak kira la hadiah krismas ke, harijadi ke... oh! smlm my dept ada year end party. siap ada gift-swapping lg... aa? what do i get, u asked? u really wanna know? betol? takyah la. buat sakit jiwa je. heh.

ha! suddenly i remembered s'thing... just last saturday, as i was rushing here and there (due to some office thingey issue), and since dah janji nak jumpa cik foxx kat the gardens to get the thing i ordered from her (for my gift-swapping event), so, i made my way there and after jalan2 to carik the office thingey, we met kat depan coach kat the gardens tu. as usual, bila dah jumpa, eventho kata nak amik barang je, tak sah if tak goss-goss dulu. as we were gossiping (while waiting for her mr. raiders yang sedang mencari parking lot), my eyes caught a glimpse of this young lady, yang sedang kelam kabut berjalan with her oversized handbag and a raoul paperbag kat tangan. dan bila saya memandang 2 orang pemuda yang berada di belakangnya, yang sedang menyorong two trolley filled with paperbags from brands such as fiorucci, nine west, lacoste, thomas pink and what not saya hampir pitam tapi berjaya kembali ke alam realiti. well.. maybe i'm a little jakun kot but truth is, i never seen anything like that! hmm.. maybe in movies, but not right in front of my eyes! (walaupon gua rasa if gua dah banyak duit nanti gua nak buat camtu .. but pushing trolleys filled with goodies? bukan tu keja santa claus je ke? heh.) cik foxx kata dia penah nampak dat kinda situation but instead of guys, dia nampak version perempuan la. lepas tu, memang mulut gua tak berenti cakap pasal tu.. well, that girl looked too young.. tah untuk sapa la barang2 tu sume kan.. (read: jeles la tu...) siap ada orang tolong tolak lagi.. lelaki lak tu. tsk.

so, lepas muah muah dgn cik foxx, gua dengan penuh dedikasinya meneruskan pencarian barangan ofis itu. jalan punya jalan, suddenly gua terserempak balik dengan 3 stooges tuh.. apalagi, dengan penuh komitednya, gua jadik paparazzi jap. haha. at that point, this girl was inside robinsons. the way she acted kan, memang macam orang jakun yang kena loteri rm20juta pastu kalu boleh nak beli the shopping mall kelam kabut je... masa dia dalam robinson, obviously the 2 guys takleh ikut with the trolleys la kan. so, dorang pon waited outside dengan muka yang bosan semacam je. (sorry. i used my hp to captured the images, so, quality agak brengset.)
