ingat sebab apa, tapi lama pulak tu.

dah cuak. makin lama makin kuat lak tu.

lunching munching.
since today is the last day for me to be sangap at the office and next week keadaan sudah kembali normal, lemme just write a quick entry sementara stok masih ada ni...
tadi went out for lunch with billa kat spaghetti grill @midvalley. if i'm not mistaken, the place tu macam sister company to chili's la kot sebab logo pon nampak sama je dua-dua tu. dah lama macam nak try makan kat situ, but selalu, either terlupa or tak sempat. so tadi kitorang pegi sebab the lunch set is only priced at rm9.95++.
menu for the set lunches consist of main course - choices of pastas, salads, panini sandwiches or pizzas - and beverage - soft drinks - je la. so i chose the aglio olio & iced lemon tea and billa had beef pepperoni pizza & coke.
billa was laughing away and assumed that for rm9.95++, maybe kitorang would get a small portion of the normal priced item of each, after reading the actual menu sebab kat menu tu, for my aglio olio, the normal price is rm20++. so, imagine la for rm9.95++.. mesti dapat portion yang ala-ala cukup makan je..
and so.. the drinks came first and they were in full size mug yang you'd get at any chili's or tgif's outlets. hmm.. we were like.. ok la tu.. at least it wasn't being served in some normal size glasses..
then, after patiently
(billa was restless sebenarnya sebab dia sibuk nak beli baju la kasut laa) waited for the food, the seconds the waiter put them food kat atas meja, we were impressed! sebab the food weren't being sized-down
(or so it may be.. tak penah tengok full portion camne) they tasted wonderful! dah la aglio olio tu version spaghettini
(thinner than spaghetti but thicker than angel hair. some called it vermicelli), it tasted better than version spaghetti, just the way i liked it, with a thick slice of soft, warm, garlic bread! and it was wayyyyy better than the delicious cafe version of aglio olio! seriously!
simply glorious! i shot this pic masa stop half way tu.. tengok la. siap ada capsicum, broccoli, enoki mushrooms (!) and herbs (chopped parsley). *if kat delicious cafe, it was only the pasta and chopped parsley. no other condiments. at a price of rm24++ pulak tu. gila cekik darah!*as for billa's beef pepperoni pizza, it was this soft-thin-crusted version and it tasted good as well! and when the bill came, we just paid rm11.45 each including 10% service and 5% govt tax! dirt cheap rm11.45 for a scrumptious lunch! i stopped half way before continuing sebab makan half pon dah rasa kenyang.. worth the money!

funny sket sebab tak pernah-pernah la malam raya gua masih lagi merayau-rayau kat mall sebab incek suami nak shopping last minute for himself after delivering custom albums kat clients dia. first time jadi camni... dah la hujan selebat-lebat hujan petang tu. takpe. ada hikmah
(sebab i dapat sepasang kasut and sehelai top secara percuma) heh.
after the fiasco kat mall, we headed back, sempat singgah subang parade amik kek yang mister mama ordered from secret recipe, itupun masa sampai, kaunter dah pasang grill dah.. nasib baik masih ada staff dia yang tengah kira-kira duit.
and incek suami tak habis kat midvalley, kat parade pon dia membeli, but this time for his twin niece/nephew
(kembar lelaki & perempuan) sebab masa kat midvalley tu, mothercare tutup awal. and since berkejar-kejar, akhirnya we got something from pumpkin patch @parkson. pastu, pegi singgah masjid depan parade tu jap sebab mister papa ada kat sana, tengah join jemaah bertakbir hari raya.
*kitorang ni dah macam santa claus aidilfitri. since tahun ni incek suami's side ramai new babies, selain baju katak untuk si kembar, he also bought 2 pairs of clarks' sneakers for his 2 other nephews. and... owh! baju kataks for lil ayra & lil aisyah and a collared t-shirt for lil aydan, my best friends' kids. memang meriah.*sampai rumah,
*nasib baik dah iron baju melayu/kurung raya terpakai di awal pagi* terus packing baju persalinan and other essentials, salam raya with mister mama, my 3 sisters, bro-in-law & my 3 adorable nieces, the Q-D-S.
we reached daerah nur kasih at around 12.30am. masa tu mak incek suami dah tidur, tapi suasana macam pukul 8 sebab si kembar terjaga dan sedang menyusu.
we slept quite late, i think almost 3am kot sebab berborak dengan my kakak ipar.

iced cold pannaz.
as promised, this is gonna be a short one as i don't have zillions of piccies to share.
yup! you heard me,
pannaz adalah sangat sejuk!sejuk sebab semalam hujan lebat ya amat and the fact that for rm32 nett, the buffet spread adalah sedikit mengecewakan despite the ra-ra kat their webby bout the
ramadhan menu...but i guess maybe dorang ada different menu from monday to saturday la kot. and maybe semalam bukan hari kitorang. tapi sume tu dorang cover dengan mixed grilled yang hebat schmebat (?)! cuma i didn't see any seafood tho'. nasib baik la kena kurangkan makan seafood yang bisa men'trigger' my sinusitis nih...
anyway, yesterday we (as in incek suami & i) were joined by an old friend and the usual suspects from my family members, billa, mister mama, uncle jai & auntie miya. of course zaes was around too. tu pon sebab hujan lebat, kesesakan lalulintas adalah diluar kawalan dan as a result, the whole lot of them were late.
oh, the buffet spread wasn't all bad lah sebab the minestrone soup, nasi ulam & kerabu betik aka som tam were delish! bottomless ribena made me begged incek bladder to behave, on the way back home. other than that, i personally think,
pannaz should just offer a la carte je la daripada buffet. and disebabkan itu, adalah amik few pics, but only fotogediks jela dengan the troop. gambar makanan harap maaf sebab masing2 dah tak ingat dunia time amik makanan. nasib baik tak jadi macam kat intai-intai hari tu iaitu,
takleh bagi lamb banyak-banyak sebab takut tak cukup untuk orang belakang! muahahaaaa.. takpe
pannaz. there's always room for improvement ok! insyaAllah, next year boleh buat lagi!

when i arrived at my office desk this morning, dah nampak
cik jiran sebelah terbongkok-bongkok kat meja dia. dah tu, bila gua tanya sepatah, dia jawab pon sepatah. usually, tak sempat habis soalan, dia dah sediakan jawapan panjang lebar. but today, camtu la gaya dia. ada time dia abaikan je soalan gua
(dan orang lain)..
apahal lak dia ni? betul2 pecah hati ke sebab tak dapat beli makanan jiwa yang diimpikan tu?
or maybe sebab dia tak dapat-dapat call radio station yang menawarkan hadiah tiket bas kat pendengar yang mempunyai alasan terbaik untuk balik kampung, pagi tadi kot? gua pon malas la nak tanya. adala tu.
then suddenly, tengah gua berkerut-kerut dahi nak siapkan one of the POS materials untuk latest fragrance by the company for women ni, she came to my desk and passed me an envelope. belek punya belek, barulah i sedar, yang tanya sepatah jawab sepatah tu, rupanya dia tengah dok leka tulih benda ni haa..
oh Tuhan saya! sangat memori daun pisang ok?i is suka! i is suka! very the zaman budak-budak berhingus la babe!
yela... when was the last time i got this kind of hari raya card? ages ago ok! seronok tengok sebab masih ada yang menjual kad raya camni. and being azyze, i'm not surprise! she's good at it, reminiscing old time! samalah macam masa kitorang layan songs from the 80's kat youtube ke, buat konsert kru bila dah sangap tahap tak boleh blah.. tu keja dia la tuuu.. hahahaaa!

and since hari raya is just 3 days away, i pon nak jugak bagi kad raya. tapi kad raya digital hasil kerjasama

pejam celik, pejam celik, hari raya is just around the corner.
so, last weekend, went out to midvalley & subang parade to buy baju raya for zaes. banyak gila beli untuk zaes sahaja! few tees, bermuda, jeans and shirts from various kedai. and a jacket for incek suami, a white top & brown pants for mister mama and a t-shirt for mister papa.
sampai kopak wallet la jugak.
owh, i didn't get anything for me. nasib baik tak beli apa-apa pon untuk i sebab bila check balik my maybank2u
(i tak suka pegang duit, so i used the atm debit card. padan muka!), err.. dah tak cukup untuk beli apa-apa after set aside untuk expenses yang lain. ho. ho. over-budget untuk zaes la ni...
eventho incek suami was out of sync that saturday
(sebab kegigihan menyiapkan few custom albums for his clients the nite before & was up all nite for a pitching job at his workplace, 2 days before that), tapi if dia tak ikut, nanti i akan tarik muka 56, so, dengan zombie-like face, we went to midvalley after zohor. since he was all stressed out and badan dia dah sakit-sakit dari few weeks ago dah, and the fact that i am no massage expert, incek suami decided to get a massage from a thai massage parlour called thai odyssey.
while waiting for him, i pegi la cuci mata with mister mama & zaes on tow. mister mama, macam biasa la, tak habis-habis suruh pegi carik baju kurung ready made. tapi gua ignore je sebab gua kan sempoi. pakai je apa yang ada... heh.
lepas incek suami dah habis sesi 30 minit kat tempat urut tu, it was already 6pm++ and baru lah kitorang tersedar if we didn't act fast, alamatnya buka puasa dengan mineral water kat concourse area tu je la. so, we went around, pegi madam kwan's dah penuh, tengok secret recipe lagi la hampeh! food court jangan cakap la kan
(tak payah tengok pon dah tau dah crowd level dia camne). incek suami suggested chili's la alexis la.. mahal betul selera dia pada hari itu. haha.
so, as we were about to went out of midvalley, konon nak pegi alexis la
(dia dah terbayang keenakan spaghetti carbonara kat situ), but a sight of delicious' easel poster display caught his eyes. the ramadhan set caught his eyes, rm89.90++ for 2 pax, consisting of few dishes yang kat gambar tu depa letak kat atas bekas nyiru yang dilapik dengan daun pisang segala
(oh! kitorang memang sucker for salivating food images yang dihias menarik walaupon tau yang kemungkinan besar akan menjadi indah khabar dari rupa), rose syrup
(takpe, tulis syrup nampak class sket dari sirap) and cendol. we decided to give it a try eventho ramai betul manusia nak makan kat situ.
we were lucky to get a table there. we were seated at a small room, quite comfy sebab it looked like a private room, jauh dari main dining area yang agak crowded tu. so kitorang pon order the ramadhan set
(with extra rice sebab waitress tu cakap eventho ramadhan set tu for 2, tapi 3 orang pon bole makan. bagus. penjimatan sebenar!), ayaq suam and sebagai memenuhi selera mahal incek suami, dia nak jugak spaghetti carbonara.
and bila juadah
(fuiyoh!) sampai, on time masa nak buka puasa lak tu, i was awed! totally awed! sebab ramadhan set dia memang indah khabar DAN rupa! cekidaut the piccas.
the main dishes consisting of (ikut clockwise from top left) grilled spring chicken (half), 2 grilled prawns, terung cili, sambal belacan, grilled mackerel with kerabu mango, ulam-ulam, salted egg, keropok belinja and kat tengah-tengah tu, oxtail assam pedas! plus 2 plate of white rice. and the bekas nyiru yang telah dicover dengan daun pisang. bole mintak extra rice if korang datang bertiga mahupon berempat. sebab makanan ni sume memang cukup nak makan up to 4 pax! harap maaf gambar ni diambil beberapa ketika setelah diusik-usik, tu yang nampak selekeh tu.
and this beefball glass noodle, 2 bowls of it. makan dengan sambal dia yang macam sambal untuk vietnamese beef noodle kat secret recipe tu laa.. gambar nampak selekeh sebab isi sume dah habis kena makan. tapi yang ni ok ok je la rasa dia...and the food was superblicious la! seriously sedap and worth it! walaupon makan berempat
(plus zaes yang makan a small portion of it) last-last gua yang kena habiskan ayam and the oxtail assam pedas tu
(bunga kantan berkantan-kantan kat dalam tu.. rugi la tak makan!) sebab sume orang dah full! oleh itu, 8 thumbs up
(from 4 of us yang makan hari tu laaa) to delicious for this sumptuous set!
i is recommend yous to eat there and order this set. definitely worth it! kat standee tu dia tulis the set will be available till 22hb september 2009. delicious ada kat midvalley, one utama, bangsar village and marc residences, kl.

once started, i just can't stop.
dia ni suruh i tulis panjang-panjang.
bukan taknak menulis lagi, tapi tuntutan kerja membuatkan i tak punya banyak masa untuk meneliti, mengingati dan seterusnya menaip. d... eh.. tak baik curse kerja kita. tu kan punca pendapatan halal. ok. jangan salahkan kerja.
berbalik kepada cerita ceriti.
owh well.. 10 malam terakhir dalam bulan ramadhan sudahpon tiba. i personally think that this year's ramadhan sangatlah cepat. macam tak sempat kelip mata, dah nak beraya dah kita. with lots of office stuff to be settled, dah predict awal-awal pon, i don't think i'm gonna enjoy syawal kali ni. nak kata age factor, mungkin jugak la kot.
*sengaja tak nak salahkan kerja*this year, as usual, kain ela yang berlambak tu, tak sempat nak jadi baju kurung pon. ada yang dah bertahun jadi penghuni setia dalam storage box kat bawah katil. yang konon beli last year masa trip to bandung tu, nak pakai sedondon satu family, tinggal konon je la. mister mama tak habis-habis bebel sebab kemalasan gua nak buat baju kurung. nak pulak si zaes yang dah tau nak beraya tu. tapi nasib baik masa birthday dia hari tu, auntie ati & uncle joko dia present kan sepasang baju melayu. itu pon sebab kain yang dorang buat untuk aliff
(their son) tu boleh buat 2 pasang baju melayu, so, dari bazir, dorang present 1 pasang kat zaes. and luckily, it fits him well. err.. except tang seluar sebab pinggang zaes kurang isi dari aliff yang dah kurus tu.
*sila bayangkan betapa kurusnya zaes..*sepatutnya incek suami nak mintak tolong his sister yang multitasking tu jahitkan baju kitorang, tapi atas sebab-sebab yang tak dapat nak elak, tinggal harapan
yang kain-kain tu would transform themselves to baju kurung/baju melayu jela. takpe. gua memang sempoi. tahun lepas punya masih elok dan masih relevant untuk disarungkan. tah tah dah longgar sket. heh!
*sila bencikan i*my weekend was biasa-biasa. a long weekend, gua berjaya buat macam-macam benda la jugak. seperti clean our bathroom, do the laundry and cooked my first buka puasa meal, the infamous pasta olio.
*bangga sebab sebelum tu lepas penat basuh bilik mandi, gorengkan nuggets untuk zaes sambil suapkan kat dia, pastu bagi dia tidur lantas berjalan kaki selama 10-15 minit ke hypermarket berdekatan akibat ketiadaan kereta since billa bawak pegi keja sebab ofis dia kat kl sebab dia tak cuti nuzul quran.*so, last saturday we had our annual buka puasa gathering with our ex-coursemates masa kat uitm dulu. nothing new, sume pon muka-muka tuuu jugak yang datang. it was held kat this place called intai-intai. a new restaurant somewhere in ulu kelang. great place to dine if you nak romantik-romantik with your other half, i must say. sebab location of the restaurant tu macam kat dalam taman
(or rather hutan?) and the dining place yang cozy
(tapi kitorang duduk kat khemah orang kawin due to the overwhelming attendance of buka puasa diners)tapi.. kena sans babies/children below 12 years old. sebab i think tempat tu tak berapa selamat untuk budak-budak cause they had this one big kolam kat tengah-tengah tu tapi dia tak letak pagar kecik ke hape ke so if you have hyper-active babies/children
(like zaes) yang suka main kejar-kejar sume tu, kemungkinan besar akan mengundang perasaan seriau sket la. bukan apa. takut terjatuh dalam kolam tu. belum sempat nak jerit nama.. isk. nauzubillah..
and sebab my zaes is the very the hyper, ada one time ni, dia pegi carik daddy dia without me realising
(or according to incek suami, i was careless.. ok..) then when b came back to the tent, i was a bit heran sebab zaes wasn't anywhere in sight, so masa tu, bayangkan la betapa semua darah sudah jatuh hingga ke kaki, memang tak boleh cakap macamana menggelabahnya gua! masa tu mata dah ke kolam tu je, tak pikir benda lain dah.. then suddenly incek suami spotted him.. at the opposite side of the tent. and it was hell far from the tent! i quickly ran to him! he was being escorted by 2 of the intai-intai staff. rupanya, he walked from the tent end to the other end, maybe initially dia nak ikut daddy dia la tu. masa tu masih belum lega sebab takut dia dah jatuh ke apa ke
(dahla tangga-tangga kat situ tinggi-tinggi, lepas tu batu lak tu.. macam kawasan air terjun camtu..) and i was right, i think he fell sebab his jeans was a lil wet! tapi, as usual, dia buat muka innocent! nak marah pon tak boleh sebab last-last gua yang kena marah dengan incek suami. lepas ni memang nak kena leash budak kenit ni..
few minutes after that, he fell again. this time because he was playing kejar-kejar dengan incek suami. akibat dari kejatuhan itu, maka tiba-tiba anak i jadi...
... angelina jolie wannabe la pulak.
jatuh tersembam, bibir pon bengkak. kesian dia.oklah. benda dah jadi pon. luckily he's ok.
anyway, food kat situ, ok je la. takdela sampai tak boleh makan ke apa. cuma the main buffet spread was so far away from our tent and yang ada kat tent kitorg tu pon sekadar
eh-letak-jugak-buffet-table-kat-sini-jangan- takde je. and they also had this roasted lamb station, tapi tunggu 20 minit belum tentu you boleh dapat as your heart desired. if you're a lamb eater, you'd be heart-broken. like incek suami. when he asked kenapa tak boleh bagi lebih-lebih, the answer was,
"err.. nanti tak cukup untuk orang belakang (refering to the queue kat belakang incek suami).." best! tapi, we paid for a BUFFET, remember? you should have some more lambs waited to be roasted back there, shouldn't you? worry not
cik foxx, i'm not complaining sebab kita pegi makan kat situ or anything and it's totally not your fault! i'm sure you too expected the same aite? tapi takpe. lepas ni tempat tu kena ban la time ramadhan.. hahahaa..
again. let bygone be bygone. so, pakailah shieldtox.

cik foxx's birthday in advance! we bought cuppas from
+wondermilk® as her birthday cake(s). it was a surprise for her, and setelah jenuh my other partner in crime, chiq mengelentong dia, just to have her distracted, kira menjadi jugakla surprise yang tak berapa nak surprise tu.. muaahaa.. ok.. enuff of the lengthy words, layan pics of these cute kids of my friends' dulu..

today marks the 32nd year of living for sis#2.
happy birthday dear sis! may Allah bless your life and may all your wish come true.
and hopefully you'll get married to the person you love according to schedule. amin.
on the other note, i recently celebrated the arrival of 2 lovely baby girls, mothered by 2 different person of course. they were belong to my two besties,
elly & ika. and they were absolutely the most adorable babies i've ever seen.
(err.. well in elly's case, i haven't really got to see her girl literally, tengok gambar kat her blog je. tu pon berkurun nak update pompuan tu..)ok. let's start with the 1st baby to be born, elly's...
auny aisyah syaza bt mohammad syaffik
was born on the 25th of july 2009
(the day yasmin ahmad passed away) at the columbia asia hospital, puchong. the nite before her baby was born, elly texted asking me about how does a contraction feel since she dah sakit-sakit pinggang semua tu. so, i called her, we chatted about it. just so you know, this is her 2nd child and she was hoping for a normal delivery as her first was a c-sect procedure.
and so, the next day, i got her sms again, saying she had safely delivered lil aisyah, thru normal birth. i'm so glad for her because her wish came true
(read: jimattt duit diaa.. haha). and since i was out with billa & lil zaes at that time, i decided to surprised her and made a detour to the hospital on the way back home.
i was greeted by a.. loud.. nebuliser-in-use-like sound when i stepped into her room. owh.. it was actually her captain hubby, who was exhaustedly asleep
(it was actually the sound of.. him.. snoring.. err..) and totally unaware of our visit dari masa kitorang sampai till nak balik! heh.
and since her lil girl was jaundice-high, she was placed at the neonatal care unit and only parents were allowed to see the baby. sebab tu la tak dapat jumpa lil aisyah masa tu jugak eventho i was there for almost an hour la kot. i decided to go back sebab si ek ek mintak makanan from ibu dia yang tengah nak makan malam, with the
dah-sebulan-mommey-tak-bagi-ek-ek-makan face. agak memalukan. notty boy!
so i left without a picture of her lil girl. but untuk tidak menghampakan semua orang, here are some pix, curik

i have yet to visit her due to my other commitment. nanti mommey pegi visit the both of you ok. present pon tak bagi lagi ni... =)

and exactly a month & 5 days after that, my other besties, ika, delivered her 1st baby
(after 3 years of marriage) on the day before the national day, 30th august 2009
(the 9th day of ramadhan) at the sime darby medical centre subang jaya. and again, the nite before that, she texted, asking about which paediatrician should she choose for her lil girl.
weh.. i dah jadi macam kaunter pertanyaan sebelum anda beranak la pulak. huhuu..
btw, her pride and joy is called ayra zafreen bt uzairi hamizi.
(what's with the letter 'A' babes?)and so, on merdeka day, we went to the hospital to catch a sight of lil ayra. we were in luck sebab masa tu ika tengah breastfed her tiny lil girl. i was a lil excited. ok. very excited! sebab finally i got to see my besties yang sorang ni holding and feeding her own baby. worth the wait innit?
as she is a first time mother, i told her the do's and don't's and what not to prepare in the 1st few weeks ni. i can see that she's quite worried about it, but i know, deep inside, she is excited, happy and can't wait to go through all these. of course, i gave her few tips for her inner being and other private stuff so that she knows what to expect later... er.. ehemm..?
