now that the winners have been announced, lemme tell you who the grand prize winner is! none other than my favourite kak emil from emilayusof.com! yay!!

when i saw her status on fb few minutes ago, saying that she has won something, i quickly click on to her weblog and was excited to read this entry:


congrats again kak emil!! seemed that her rezeki is so murah and mencurah-curah tahun ni! during the monthly round pon, she won some other great monthly prizes and rupanya that was an indication that a bigger prize is on the way! alhamdulillah, all of her hard work was being recognised tremendously with this big win.

itu lah.. kan i dah cakap, kalau kak emil yang masuk contest ni, mesti sapu habis punya... hehehe..

hurray it's a jolly good day!

few weeks back, i entered this contest yang kak emil buat for her readers. saja la masuk suka suka.. then, few entries after that, she announced the winners and i was one of them. i quoted a quote for the month of.. ehem.. november. heh. yay! and winners won themselves the calendar from kak emil! double yay!

so, when kak emil dropped a comment saying that she had sent the prizes to my office add and sepatutnya dah dapat like few days after, i had suspected that the prizes mesti sangkut kat my office's p.o box kat kelana jaya's post office. it happened to me once and walaupon parcel tu dah sampai awal, tapi since i used the office add, automatically dorang akan hantar kat kj, straight to the rented p.o box. a little leceh tapi takpe, most importantly, finally the prizes are in my hands!!

so, when the office despatch asked me to collect my parcel from his room, i was pretty excited! and it really paid off when i peeped into the package and saw the calendar and other freebies from kak emil; keychains & the much awaited roll-up pen/brush organisers! triple yay!

from melaka to pj. heh. suka hati i la..

bila hendak memulakan entry dengan ayat seperti:

sorry you guys! it's been awhile since my last update...

... itu adalah sangat cliche dan poyo pon ada. owh well.. how i wish i have longer time and energy. zaes pon tak selalu dapat jumpa mommey dia ni tau.. pity him~

hmm.. let's see.. apart from keja yang melambak kat ofis, what else happened eh? my company trip yang exhilarating (exhilarating la sangat...) tu.. balik from sana (ala.. melaka je) the next day tu accompanied b to colmar tropicale, bukit tinggi for our beloved friend, cik foxx' pre-wedding shoot, yang sangat exhausting.. and.. owh yes.. of course! finally met kak emil to pass her the sponsored items after 2 unsuccessful attempts of transporting them to kak emil (nak pos, the post office people tak nak accept because of the content, pastu dah set nak jumpa kak emil kat kl book fair, pon tak jadi sebab kak emil ada hal lain..).

and that happened yesterday. punyala excited nak jumpa dengan kak emil (susah je datang all the way from ampang) sampai lupa nak snappy snap snap dengan kak emil. she came around lunch hour, and sebab excited kot, i dragged cik jiran sebelah to joined me. kak emil came with her cheeky son, yassin. haha.. tiba-tiba nak tergelak sebab teringat the sight of yassin masa tu. boleh tak dia panjat sofa kat lobi ofis ni, then he purposely jatuhkan diri. and he did it over and over again! tapi dia relax je. tak rasa sakit ke apa ke pon. haha. cute la dia.

after few awkward moment, (yela.. nervous sebab it was our first time jumpa kan..) dengan cik jiran sebelah pon termalu-malu la konon.. paranoid kak emil tak kenal dia.. haha.. i handed her the sponsored item and a lil something for her as a token of appreciation.. nak tau what is it, please read here. then we chat a bit, pastu she had to go to damansara to pick up other sponsored item lak.. (yela, it's already end of the month, if the sponsored items not in hand, camne nak award her readers kan?)

to my surprise, masa salam, she gave me this nicely wrapped gift. wah.. kita sponsor hadiah, pastu kita dapat balik hadiah! i was surprised actually as i didn't expect to get anything in return kan. dah awal-awal pon niat saja suka-suka. and i guess, pasal tu la jadi over excited sampai lupa nak bergambar dengan this talented lady. dahla physically, she didn't look 40 langsung. and no kak emil. you are not fat either ok.. (on the way out pon si yassin can actually buat lawak pakai selipar kat tangan dia. muahaha.. kelakar sangat! dengan cheeky face dia tu.. LOL!!)

masa naik lift dengan cik jiran sebelah tu dah tak sabar-sabar nak bukak the gift yang kak emil bagi tu. and bila dah bukak.. taraaaa! wah!! best sangat sebab dia bagi 2 self-binded small-sized note/sketch books and a cute floral motif art makeup brushes rollmade from cloth! yay! suka gila, terus mintak cik jiran sebelah tolong snappy snap2 gambar (yang self portrait tu laa..) using my camera phone... uhuhuu..

something i'm doing just for the fun of it..

kak emil, the talented lady as we all know (for those who follow her blog la kan) likes to organised contests or giveaways for her blog readers and before this, most of her giveaways were of from her own creation such as tote bags, note books, mugs and what not.. so this time around, maybe sebab dia busy or banyak job lain nak siapkan, she couldn't really bagi her handmade stuff every now and then and then she decided to get sponsors for the prizes and in return, the sponsors' banner will be advertised kat her blog for the whole freakin' month! sweet ain't it?

and memandangkan blog gua yang ala-ala je ni, bukanla nak dapat exposure macam celebs' blog kan, tapi just for the fun of it sebenarnya... so i decided to sponsor some of the company for women's prods, for her to give as prizes kat her top commenters. yela, disebabkan sedar diri tak femes, nak buat contest sume tu, mesti takde orang nak layan (nak jual tiket sunburst pon takde response), thus, that's the only way for me to see the 0.25 sen earning kat nuffnang tu naik ke 0.50 sen (maybe laa..) eh! eh! jap.. ha.. tengokkk.. as i write this, disebabkan pakar dalam hal multitasking ini, dengan pantas telah menekan t dan seterusnya ke nuffnangcom dan.. jeng! jeng! jeng! jenggggg!!!! tiba2, status 0.25 sen itu dah meningkat kepada 0.75! wow! lebih 0.25 daripada yang dijangka... muahahahaaa!


isk. gila ah..! ok. ok. kool! (baru naik 0.50 sen from the last time you log in your account dah jadik poyo) so, for those yang rasa ingin memiliki (mode skemarama: ON) barang-barang yang ditawarkan itu, silalah lawati kak emil.

again, i wish to thank kak emil for her generous barter trade.. heheh.. i mean for the opportunity to advertise my crappy blog @ her superb-no-word-can-describe blog! insyaAllah ada rezeki bole sponsor lagi. oh! not to forget, for promoting b's webby too! sapa yang blom visit both websites, go have a peek la eh!

dan ye, i celebrated (participated la weh. jangan bodoh sangat.) earth hour hari tu! insisted on switching off the lights for the whole 60 minutes, eventho zaes' diaper dah penuh dengan bahan kumbahan yang berbentuk paste dan perlu dibasuh dengan kadar segera, basuh jugak la dalam gelap.. muahaha! to all who participated, bravo! and i hope it you'll continue the gesture when needed ok?

ok. gotta get my work done. next week ada important celebrity shoot la. heh.

yay! kak emil rocks!

no wonder la this morning i changed my clothes twice.. at first i was thinking to wear this white shirt over a beige-coloured flair pants, but since the white shirt is a lil bit transparent and i can't find my eff-ing (sorry) white camisole (tah mana tah pegi camisole tu.. - yes, b. i know. i need to spring clean my wardrobe. thank you!), so i decided to wear this purple top over a black pants instead. rupa-rupanya, i am about to get this pressie i deserved from kak emil! haha! the best part was, the purple top i'm wearing was like some sort of a hint laa.. because.. the package i received has my name and add written with PURPLE INK pen! hah! how coincidently funny is that!







kak emil ni memang suka organise contests or just a simple guessing game or whenever she feels generous je, she'd give presents to even the top commentator yang rajin visit her webby. so, to those who haven't got the chance to visit her, pegila visit dia kat emilayusofdotcom. i won my first lil gift from this entry! and most of the time, her presents were exclusively handmade by her you know! so, whoever yg lucky enough, if rajin macam si mariuca, or TH, or ken - just to name a few la eh.. - dapatlah hadiah best-best... tapi kena rajin la. =p

and owh, last saturday was great! that entry coming up soon as i terforgot to take the camera back with me - hafta pinjam my elder sis' cam that day - as where most of the pics were captured.. so kena tunggu la. (i wasnt planning to enter the post event entry pon sebab my assigned photographer on that day, billa, tak cukup tangan.. yela, mana nak handle my 2 nieces lagi, zaes lagi..) but all i can say is that the kidlets were having so much fun esp during the magic show! ok. ok.. will reveal later! gotta continue my werk!

blog schmlog.

laa... it has been 4 years rupanya since i first join this blogging world.
(i was in the mood to read random posts from my archive, pastu bila tengok balik, rupanya last nov 9, was my 4th blogaversary...)

and tiba-tiba teringat gak yang mariuca is also celebrating her 2nd blogaversary this month... (didn't i mention earlier that november is a month full of celebration?? best nye!!) mariuca is a blogger whom i 'met' via kak emil's blog. rite now she's having this contest in view of her blogaversary that offers this cute teddy to the lucky winner, yang kak emil dah buat tweakings here and there, so teddy tu nampak personalised sket laa.. tapi disebabkan i'm not a pembaca tegar kepada blog-blog sedunia, i didnt get the chance to enter the contest.. yet. best la kan when they offer a lot of thing and siap buat contest segala.. like when i won the pendant from marvic tu la. kak emil tu pon selalu gak dia buat contest.. sangat gigih ok dia tu! and the best thing is, all her pressies will be of her own personal touch! best kann?

but since i dont have enuff energy (read: ka-ching!) to do all that, lemme jez wish my blog, happy 4th blogversary, roxychick's! semoga roxychick akan terus menulis crappy stuff, whine about petty things and be frank about.. err.. alot of things.. errr.. almost. ala. gua punya blog. gua punya pasal. heh.

anyway, i managed to go check out the latest m.a.c holiday coll i was telling you about earlier, kat midvalley.. hmmph.. not bad laa.. cuma the little darlings je dorg takde lagi.. not bad sbb the 217 brush i have my eyes on ada pulak kat one of the set brushes, which is jarang la dorg nak include dlm set brushes... but this time ada lak.. well.. maybe i'll jez get the full-sized brush je, later on kot.. maybe la.. hmm.. i might la.. tah. tengok la camne.

and the holiday coll's pallettes were.. ok ok la.. if they are priced at rm1 per piece, sure i'll buy all of em.. sigh.. i'm soo weak when it comes to pretty makeup packagings.. sigh.. but kak w bought the basic brush set (priced at rm220 for 5pc brushes, the casing - ada 1 big 1 small ones - and this limited edition purple transluscent paper bag.. very pretty!) after much persuasion from ehem.. you-know-who.. eheh. ala. berbaloi kak oi! i berani guarantee ok..! =p

i pon ada beli satu benda tu, but i shall reveal it later cuz rite now i need to go back to the store, to learn the 'how tos' and apply them. masa tu baru bleh show off. haha. tungguuuuu...

tapi sekarang ni, i am considering of getting my hands on one of the limited item kat the m.a.c store tu.

tapi sebab baru je beli barang lain tu, i think i have to pendamkan hasrat la it seems.

tapi if dah takde stock camne?
